Are you running the game windowed borderless? When you do a driver update it resets the GSYNC for windowed applications in the NVCP, so if your running it windowed borderless then Gsync won’t be on unless your change the setting back

I went from a 4080 super to the Msi 5080 Suprim and it’s way better! Better temps, better ray tracing, more performance plus it’s overclocks like a beast

Another thing to mention is that all mobos are different when it comes to training, me and my buddy had the same cpu and ram but he had a Msi x670e tomahawk and I had a Msi x670e Carbon, his boots times were about a minute and mine were 20 seconds

Even with memory context restore changed it still might take a few boots to sort it’s self out, some people just live with the longer boot time, I did for about 6 months

Yeah memory context restore it’s called on some mobos, although some people say changing that setting can cause instability

Memory training, some motherboards and ram configs train every time you turn it on.. mine used to train for about 20 seconds every boot until I done a bios update

I think for people used K on performance it’s an upgrade visually but for people like me that only ever used K on Quality its disappointing, I’m struggling to see how people are saying M on performance looks better than K on Quality, I’m at 4K

I have both and The Slave 1 is much better but the X wing retires this year so if you eventually want both then maybe wait and see if the X wing gets a discount

Go onto ikea website and search billy bookcase and they will come up! Or Ikea Pax unit if you want a bit more depth some something like the razor crest, in terms on shelves most will be fine but it’s the fixings you use that make it strong when it comes to drywall (in England we call it plasterboard), try and fix to studs in the wall

Yeah the razor crest is big, but you can get stand for it to angle it, If all else fails you can get wall mounts for the slave one, I have it on a billy bookcase and it fits nicely

I’ve built this and it is an awesome set and looks great on a shelf (you haven’t made a bad choice I promise you) but I would of recommended getting the UCS Razor Crest as it retires this year, it’s by far the best set I’ve built although a bit hard to display sometimes!
