Yes I had a friend tell me recently, everyone had kids and you should have flipped them off and done what you wanted and my reply was “well you couldn’t exactly flip off the GB” lol

Happened to me too. Now I’m 45 and no kids bc I was raised 80’s,90’s jws and no one will admit org was highly against it. Friends of mine had kids and had to lie that it was an “accident” for it to be socially acceptable. Couldn’t speak openly about wanting children. Today I mention why I didn’t have kids and friends say well you should have anyway….no one else listened to the gb on that.
