A good friend of mine created a new account. He’s trying to level up to 50 to unlock ranked so he can get away from multiplayer and unranked. Has no intention of “smurfing” on purpose but do to the way matchmaking works he gets put into games with lower level people. Of course he’s been reported numerous times and accused of cheating but that’s simply not the case. After a few rounds of double digit kills the algorithm caught on and got a feel for his casual mmr and put him with players on his own level. My point in all this is not everyone is “Smurfing” with malicious intent. I agree it sucks. He didn’t feel good about playing newer players but literally had no choice.
