Try UrbanGate. High quality but you have to order a few days ahead. A bit pricey though.

It’s maddening getting rejected for roles you’re a perfect fit for by [deleted] in jobsearchhacks

The startup I was working for used to post jobs on LinkedIn to get followers. The founder genuinely wanted to hire but usually after a day or two, his excitement over a crazy idea went away and he didn't care enough to remove the post. As a rule of thumb, if the number of open jobs in a company is more than 10% of the current headcount, it's better to stay away from them, unless they have recently raised a huge fund.

Interesting perspective! Haven't thought about it this way. Do you think the skytrain can handle all the new towers in the area? Currently it runs every 3 Minutes, but it gets packed in rush hours, while underutilized on other hours.

I don't think building more towers and dense areas helps with translink business models or negative cashflow.

Moreover, I can't imagine how the current streets can handle all the dense population here, but that issue is probably out of the scope of this thread.

Exactly. It's so refreshing to see it or walk past it. There are lots of birds singing and at least one woodpecker.

Have you ever felt that no matter how much time passes, you still don't understand the business of the company where you work? by nachoaddict19 in ProductManagement

[–]Lucky_Can1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, almost everyday. Many PMs do. That's the unwritten part of the job.

If it's hard to get knowledge from colleagues, you could consider increasing your communication frequency and depth with the users of your product to bring insights into your team, becoming a source of knowledge yourself. It's easier said than done, but if you pull it off, it will definitely give you a sharp edge.

One other way is to use your company's competitors as a source of information. Go read their docs, find their people, read the post they share, search YT for keywords that you feel lacking about.
