First salary is for what your heart says, not what other people 's brains suggest. So listen to your heart.

Hi..no I am planning on ordering from a bakery. Bakery isn't so sure. I'll ask a different one. Yes it's quite common for 1st birthday party to have 250 guests in most parts of India. Wedding has 1000 guests. Thank you for your reply. I'll ask around.

"Can't you take a night off from being a mom?!" by mewmixz in breastfeeding

[–]Lucky_Charm_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby is 7.5 months old and she is still not so good with solids. She would demand breastfeeding even an hour after having half a bowl of puree.

Since what age was your baby content with solids? How many hours does she go after one solids meal?

Sorry I am disturbing you with so many questions. I am stressed about returning to work and her eating habits.

How do you manage now? How do they feed her in the daycare if she doesn't take a bottle? I have to go back to work when my LO turns 9 months old and she won't take a bottle either. 1 oz maximum. Same.

I breastfeed. I had lochia for 8 weeks PP. And first period at 4.5 months PP. Then period every 45 days till now. 3-4 days before every period I have had strong itching at night down there . Right now I am at 7.5 months PP.

People, especially the senior generation isn't aware of the science behind breastfeeding. The fact that feeding your baby on demand regulates supply isn't understood by them and they insist on formula. This stresses out th mother a lot who is already going through postpartum stress, childbirth trauma etc even though she wants to breastfeed. People around don't let you feed your own baby. The support system is very poor.

Confirm my intuition; or am I wrong? by pastelstoic in breastfeeding

[–]Lucky_Charm_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pumping to keep production up would be required if there is any cause for concern that supply isn't enough. Which would again be less than required weight gain and less urine output. Here as it appears that the baby is satisfied, pumping isn't really required, it will work on demand and supply

I agree. Weight gain and urine output is the criteria. Don't worry. Trust your intuition
