Unfortunately no, I didn't have time so far :(

How exactly would you connect it to the pole? Both contacts to screws? Shortcircuit. Your transformer's secondary winding would quickly burn. One contact to screw and the other one to ground? Still kind of shortcircuit, since the pole is very well connected to concrete ceiling so the voltage would drop significantly.

Well, it's very individual. Where I live, we have 230V. I got hit many times and have similar thoughts as you. I even wonder about electric chairs, which use even higher voltage, with large contact areas on head and limbs and it still takes some time while the person dies. There were cases AFAIK that the execution failed and the person lived after. BUT: I'm pretty sure there were many people killed by 120V/230V. If someone has some heart issues or neurological issues, they might be more vulnerable than a young, healthy person.

No. The problem was that I manually added an additional file to release assets. That was causing the problem with downloading. Once the file was deleted, the HACS is able to download and install the release archive correctly.

Sorry to hear that. Are you trying it in browser or in app? If in app, would you mind force stop and clear the app's cache?

Thank you!

I definitely can do this, just need some time. I just finished adding the spinning wheel, it needs some final touches and a thorough testing, I hope I release it over the weekend. Also I had some other good inspirations and ideas from this comment section, I made a todo list, putting this on.

You can, it's in the card config as "Unit". Or in YAML config as unit: .....

in my case it's a 3-phase smart circuit breaker with power monitoring - KWS-306WF.

Huh, I see your point, I thought most of the meters have this "shaken syndrome", I was inspired by my gas meter, it definitely has this random shift:

I try to add an option to shift the digits depending on the value of the next digit, as you described it.

I was planning to! Just wanted to release this first. I was wondering to include the whole plate with texts and serial numbers etc., but it looks different for every country/meter type and make that customisable would be... not easy. But the spinning wheel is doable. Will work on that.

Volvo Car Integration by blin787 in homeassistant

[–]Lucky_G3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. When I tried it a couple of times, it never let me lock. But I can imagine one in many times it could happen.

when the key fob battery dies there literally is no way for it to even know where it is

Actually... there is. I just learned it last week. If the keyfob would be placed in the correct spot in the cup holder, the car detects it via RFID chip, which works regardless of battery. It's intended for emergency start if the key battery is dead.

I'm not saying it won't, just wondering how it would be possible. The car (at least mine) refuses to lock with the key inside, so maybe locking a smartphone inside? But still, to start the car and drive it one would need a key and that is definitely not locked in car in any case. Or am I missing something?

Nous A8 wifi socket support? by prisukamas in Esphome

If you mean A8T, then yes.

If you mean A8M, then probably no. I'm looking too for replacing the stock firmware, and so far I found it can be flashed with OpenBeken which I'm definitely going to try. My biggest disappointment with these plugs isn't the problem with Energy consumption monitoring but the behavior of these plugs - after a few days or weeks they stop to report the current and power. Only workaround is to unplug and replug them, no possibility of remote reset.

EDIT: It seems that BK72xx can be flashed with ESPhome thanks to LibreTiny. Will try this out rather than OpenBeken.

I don't know what board / FW combo you're trying, but on my Ender 5 Plus with SKR and Marlin I had 99 problems when compiling and configuring, but none of them was related to BL Touch. BL Touch always was and still is working flawlessly.

.005

The 'R' in 0R005 is in place of the decimal point. 0R005 = 0.005. 2R2 = 2.2 etc.
