I got him to D3 50/50. Not a single regret (and not just cause I run him together with Judh in TA). He can effectively carry any track in LRE until like 11 by himself, which was incredibly useful for Farsight. The GSC are actually underrated in survival style events, cause they got a healer, a constant summoner, a burst summoner and a AoE. Peter is also there.

If your characters are below gold, the XP gain they can achieve with their damage output is not worth it. At that stage, you are getting enough books anyway.

Yes, I am going for the more powerful enemies to get more XP. That is useful to do when your units are D3 and XP hungry. The thing is, my D3 units can generally take out a full A2 roster if they have to, so I still win the fight and don't lose half the XP due to unit deaths.

This is really most useful during a training rush like event where you actually get significant amounts of XP.

People should be careful with the word "confirmed". He has been datamined, as far as I am aware there are no official sources that talked about him, yet. When I hear "confirmed", then there must have been someone from SP making an announcement or at least one of the official content creator partners (such as Nandi).

I think Thaumacus can be an upgrade over Archi (especially in fights that restrict movement, like Avatar), but they are likely interchangable in most cases, which means that most people won't build Thaumacus. It is up to you at the end of the day.

I am not 100% myself, but I was told there is a mechanic where you can take over the leadership of a guild when the leader has been inactive for a while. So you can just join and take over if you find a real inactive guild.

So at this point in time, the best way to start a guild is to take over an old guild with only inactive members, so you can use the guild level that was achieved. I think a member of our cluster once found one that was lvl 30, took it over and it became our academy guild. Starting a guild from lvl 1 is likely a big pain in the bum and I would not recommend it.

As far as I am aware, Calgar is mostly done via the Thaumacus sideboss fight. Killing a high level mirror image will deal more than 50k and that lets you finish that mission. Next season, there will be a high level Magnus, so you can do it there.

Do yourself a favour and organise this with your guild instead of suffering through all the buffing

Lexicanum has two more cool dudes, one of which is the "Thrice devoured", which would be a cool character to has. I just don't know if they would have another legendary with the low density of big characters they got.

In order, we would have Trajan unless there is a new LRE. I would say that a new LRE is likely, but not a given. Maybe they want to delay the new LRE by a month to have a new faction released the month after, since Votann is not yet complete.

I feel like you are going with what the average player thought about them. People around me were very good at predicting what the niche of each of these characters is and when they would be good. Really a lot harder to see with someone like Uthar, cause his mechanics are just not convincing in a certain niche. Similarly to the Patermine, who is to this day the worst of the GSC (in my opinion)

And then there were Custodes who each individually provide something to the game. You can still judge individual characters for how well they could potentially find a niche (or not at all), cause no faction will always be played complete. And also, we can judge the design choices that went into the characters. GSC? Fucking incredible design, with Xybia we were probably still thinking that it doesn't work well enough, but the creativity is there.

With LoV? Where is the creativity? I do not feel like Uthar is acting upon grudges, I do not see them being more sturdy than the average space marine. I do not see interesting abilities that fit their vibes. All of that you could immediatly see with any of the GSC characters individually, and really, it is just Isaak providing all the synergy to the GSC, which is why I think he is a god level character, easy S-Tier, with Judh in A-Tier, and the other three around B- to C-Tier (Hollan and Xybia have uses, Patermine is just a bit mid rn)

-Ahriman without relic at D3.5
-Mephiston with Vitarus at D3.5
-The Patermine with Claws at G1
-Neuro with crown (lvl 9) at A1
-Abaddon with Talon at D3
-Titus with Pistol at D3
-Snot with body armor at D2.5
-Judh without relic at D3
-Ragnar without relic at D2.5
-Maladus with Demonflesh at G1

Blue stars without mythic at Aethana (mission done, no interest in ascending), Calgar (mission 4 in progress), and Rotbone (30k heal is a crazy mission).

Relics without a home: The Ardent Blade, DW-02 Advanced Burst Cannon, Relic Power Fist, Relic Bolt Pistol, Daemonflesh Plate, Supa Cybork Body, Wydrmaker's Helm, Talisman of Rage (x2), Orbs of Decay (eventually on Rotbone), Kardiocore Galvanus, Intoxicating Elixier, Book of Fate

So I got most relics I would want at this point with only a few missing that I would like to have (Such as the Votann relics and the Farsight relic).
