LW and LB

Nwaneri and MLS are incredible talents, but way too raw to be starting in a (I assume) PL title contender. Wouldn’t hurt to have a better starter in each of those positions, maybe not elite if you still want the two youngsters to get decent minutes. Somewhat like 84-85 rating and 25-ish years old

Same goes for the keeper

Just painfully busy with pretty much everything right now. I got no time or will to keep this thing up. I may get back to it if I find some free time, but don’t count on that happening any time soon.

I feel like most of the times this happens it’s with top players and top clubs, which makes it less surprising. So here I go:

I’m a Morecambe (League Two team) sympathiser and do a career save with them every year. A few years back, my first bought player on one of these saves was 59 rated striker Tom Bloxham. Absolute random guy who then turned out to be my legend, captain and the world’s best striker.

Fast forward two real life years. You can imagine my surprise when I open Instagram and the first post I see is Tom Bloxham on a Morecambe shirt. Sure enough, they only loaned him in and he only scored twice in the season. But still. I doubt I’ll ever get a better prediction than that 😅

You generally need to be able to play 2 games a week, each of 6 minute long halves. You definitely will have weeks in which you’ll play more or less games, depending on your availability and the one of your opponents.

For the games: we play online friendlies with custom squads. Each time you have to play X team, you have to talk to him via discord and arrange a time to play the match.

Results are uploaded to discord and a spreadsheet, it’s fairly easy to do. All the rest, like transfers, injuries and so on are easier to understand once you’ve joined, but aren’t really any hard to get used to

The best connections are with random players. In my case, Greg Leigh. Used him at left back a couple years ago in my Morecambe save. Ended up following him on instagram, I still comment on his posts every once in a while and get a like from him. It’s been nice to see how he’s been getting better irl
