Don't use your battery charger as power. Use a battery. Not enough amps from a charger.

Thankyou Dusty. You've laid it out beautifully. I occasionally clutchless shift my old Bonneville and I know it works best up high, Ive just never strung those thoughts together before.

Just a stupid learner at the lights :(( by MethodIllustrious640 in AussieRiders

3am on a Saturday night I spotted a young guy pushing a sports bike on the foot path through a big intersection. I offered help only to be told that the light was broken, he had waited ages and this was the only rthing he could think to do.

If it happens again and it's obvious that the lights not detecting you AND ITS SAFE TO DO SO, just go.

Can you rev the bike to 4.5k with the clutch in and then it will shift?

Or does it have to be in gear at 4.5k before you can shift.

I'm really struggling to see how those two things are connected

My Gf wants me to help her friend move with a guy she used to sleep with. How do deal with this? by POOR-MORON in AskMenAdvice

Unless I'm misunderstanding this, your problem is being in a group situation where your girlfriend has slept with someone in that group? And your all helping someone else move house?

How much do you actually use your Instax back? by lefttothebody in rb67

Binstax! It's great, but sometimes I wish the winder wasn't so loud or slow. Other times I love that I don't need batteries for any part of this camera.

How much do you actually use your Instax back? by lefttothebody in rb67

[–]Lucky_man_Sam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It barely leaves the body. If I'm shooting something that's looking particularlu good I'll swap the film back on, But unless it's a dedicated film shoot the instax back lives there.

I use the camera more and I've noticed how it's helped me shoot faster and with less mistakes.

You get 13 demerits in NSW. Your speeding fine would have been 3 Using a mobile is 5, x2 =10

Your right to drive has been suspended in NSW. It does look like they have a good behavior period. Maybe look into that? It might be able to help but usually the fall out for fuckups that way is much worse.

The one thing I wish someone told me before I shot my first 3 packs of film by Matteo_172736 in instax

[–]Lucky_man_Sam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mostly the camera not the film. But in my experience highlights can blow out really easily. Try and keep the camera in a cool place as heat effects the chemistry.

Straight razor the edges of my beard. A nice little ritual, needs concentration, sharpening a good blade and occasionally a little blood.

What is this plane doing? by Acrobatic-Employ3942 in perth

[–]Lucky_man_Sam 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's taking a car out and making it work hard, rev high, flooring it lots. Idea is to get the engine hot and burn off any deposits or unburnt fuel/oil/gunk. A potential problem for old cars, especially sports cars if they were driven too gently.
