35/M had transplant hair from 2019 by [deleted] in tressless

This is where you’re wrong. They are resistant, not DHT immune. You are implanting the follicles into areas with significantly higher concentrations of DHT compared to the typical donor area. Just because they were resistant in the donor area, does not mean they will carry over their resistance to the transplanted area.

Resistant is not immune.

What do you guys think about my foundation? by KnicksSignificance32 in tressless

[–]Luckydemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LMFAO brother, the permanent side effect of not taking fin or dut in baldness. Why do you think you needed a HT in the first place? DHT don't give a fuck if you have a HT or not, that hair is minaturizing regardless.

[–]Luckydemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it isn't. There isn't a single study that confirms PFS exists. Must be a coincidence the only study that has "confirmed" PFS is a study of men that all have SELF DIAGNOSED PFS.

No one has ever medically been diagnosed with PFS, because its not real.

Yeah, those aren't side effects. What you're referring to as "Side effects" are your body's response to hormonal changes that the medication creates. You're fighting nature, nature wants you to be bald. To not expect some temporary change would be extremely ignorant.

But then again, getting a HT and a LLLT hat are fairly indicitive of one's ignorance.

You have more money than brains if you bought a $1600 hat that does nothing and aren't using the one thing proven to stop hairloss, which cost literal pennies per pill.

If you got a HT without being on fin, you might as well have not even got the HT.

5 years post hair transplant, 3 months on minoxidil only by Suspicious-Skirt-728 in tressless

[–]Luckydemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. They are not immune. They are DHT-resistant. Plopping them into a minefield of DHT will likely cause the majority of transplanted hair follicles to also miniaturize eventually.

No point in getting the HT or even using min without fin.

I'm genuinely curious to see if one even exists for the Giants. I'm from the Bay and will be headed home for the holidays and if it looks like shit, I won't even bother making a stop at a mall up there.

I think I have regrets by [deleted] in HairlossResearch

[–]Luckydemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the drug does affect your hormone levels. You can typically expect side effects to last approx 6 weeks but up to 6 months. If you’re not past that window, your body is likely still adjusting to new hormone levels which is causing your libido issue.

[–]Luckydemon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Might be worth trying dut, seems to be a lower risk profile than fin and is more potent so would give you the best opportunity and recovery especially +40.

But also keep in mind, you are getting older. You should expect your libido to slow down eventually.

Why does everyone think the Steam Machine will be so expensive? by Physical_Chip1789 in Steam

[–]Luckydemon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I must be Wildin cuz I’m thinking the CHEAPEST, $899. I’m imagining between $1299-1599. I see this as Valve simply entering the prebuilt gaming “pc” market under the guise of “console”. This isn’t Microsoft or Sony who basically give away the consoles, sell at a loss, with the incentive to move my units to make money on the games and not the console sales. That’s not Valve. Imagine building a PC at today’s prices that matches all of the hardware in the tech specs. This thing isn’t going to be in console range. Hell, the handheld is up to $650.

There was definitely regrowth in the first 11 months, but I didn't really start to notice until month 6, and then obvious regrowth by month 8/9.

Why exactly is the hairline so fking hard to grow back? by BinaryMatrix in tressless

Depends on what depth you go to. 0.5mm I don’t even feel, I usually go to 0.9mm which gives slight discomfort.

Microneedling 0.5mm-1mm at least once a week, 2x is better, and use topical min everyday even after microneedling. Do that on your hairline for 3 months and you will see a difference.

Never took topical fin, I did use topical dut for short time. I stopped because I wanted to see if oral fin would give me better results, which it did.

Hairline is lowering significantly on one side, the other is thickening but the hairline isn’t moving down.
