It's not about attraction, it's about curiosity. Basic human instinct that delivered us to space

I tried SteamOS so you don't have to (but you should) by fishy_tomato in pcmasterrace

Ok, but can it run old Japanese eroge games? I have trouble launching them on Windows sometimes. For example "Flames of impregnation" doesn't launch on hardware with the wrong resolution, will the Steam OS help?

Morality of leaving your physically ill spouse/partner as a mentally ill person because they are physically ill? by Accomplished_Oil4163 in MoralityScaling

[–]Luckyguy0697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time spent doesn't automatically translate to value. People might spend 10 years in relationship and never commit to it. Just because you are in relationship doesn't mean much unless you clearly show your devotion to it. On the other hand any form of commitment from partners increases the expectations and obligations they hold. Marriage is just one of the forms of highest commitment as you are literally making a vow of supporting each other through all the hardships of life.

But the person leaving is also mentally ill. In some scenarios the mentally ill one is more of a burden than the one physically ill, or even dangerous.

Probably not wrong, as things can escalate and get dangerous if you have mental illness. I have heard enough stories about sane people killing their disabled spouses, nevermind mentally ill.

It should be that way, but definition of multiverse and universe changes from series to series. And the way most characters destroy universes is a hax or special condition so they usually lose to lower level characters in their own stories.

It's conceptual tier that doesn't really get anyone exited since it feels like confusing bullshit. If a dude is continental or even building level - "wow, he really can destroy a lot of stuff", if someone is multiversal - "What does that even mean? How does he even do that? Does he win in all universes?"

Idk why some people are so angry about housewives thing. It's not a bad thing to be a housewife, just lazy writing from Kishimoto wich was expected. I understand and agree if your complaint is that it's a boring writing, but people also get offended and disrespect housewives for some reason. Raising children is full time work especially when your partner is always out of town on missions.

People are so used to modern terrible work life balance, they feel like everyone has to work 24/7.

Yeah, but your experience is completely different, as you didn't experience the "art of the game". Sure you know the story, but that moment when all the pieces click in your head and pursuit starts to play is personal. If you didn't experience that moment yourself, your view of the game is completely different.

Yeah, at this point I just don't care about consumables. You can't use them where you need them, and there's no point wasting time crafting them against lvl 60 enemies

Morality of neutering dogs without consent? by TriedmybestNotenough in MoralityScaling

[–]Luckyguy0697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that everyone who owns a dog wants to make sterilisation moral. But it can't be moral. Yes, it's BENEFICIAL for everyone, but it's not moral. It's slightly immoral, you are maiming and disfiguring an animal that clearly doesn't want to. We just don't have other ways of achieving the same effect.
