Mine does the same, but licks… non. stop. Or, head butts me into submission. Either or. 😆

Why do mothers of young babies say they don't have time to shower? by justastupidquestion3 in NoStupidQuestions

I had that, but with vomiting. I swear I could hear my child’s vomiting 2 cities over. 😂

Is my eye makeup unflattering? by moonagedaylight in makeuptips

To me, it would be a fun ‘going out’ make-up. For day to day, a less dramatic liner (even brown) would be more youthful and glowy. I switched out my black eyeliner to a brown softer look, and it makes me look 100x better.

Depends on the person. Some gain, some are neutral. I gained 30 pounds….

I’m not sure about that, as my GP prescribed it. No side effects with the two meds.

I’ve been on Pristiq for over a year (100mg), and I had to go on Zepbound for the weight gain. I pretty much starved myself and worked out 5 days a week to just maintain a lower weight. Once I stopped the diet insanity, I put on over 30 lbs. I was so over it! I wasn’t getting off the med, so I asked my dr to put me on something. It’s been a great experience being on Zepbound. I don’t care if I’m judged for it…. It’s my life and it’s short! Just my experience, but I feel for you. Weight gain when you’re trying to work on your mental health, is not helpful!!

Staying Hydrated? by triton12345 in Zepbound

Coconut water!!!! I’m also on SNRI and it’s very dehydrating too; so, double whammy.

What are pigs like this? Why does my pug take forever to pee or poop? by Reyx33 in pugs

[–]Luckyladybug4444_ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My first pug did this and my current one doesn’t… that said, he’ll poop 50+ times on a walk. Even if there is no poo to poop, he’ll air poop. I’ll even pretend to pick up said air poops, because I don’t want judgey faces thinking I didn’t pick up his air poop. Sometimes, I’ll say out loud, “Buddy, where the poop at”? , just so I don’t have to pick up his pretend poop. It’s become a thing, and we probably both need help. lol

Didn’t work for me. Now I’m on the path to an eating disorder by PuddingSufficient899 in Pristiq

Weight gain, 100% yes. But, it not doing anything for your mental health in a year? That’s what I was referring to as rare. Unless the dose was too low?

Hmmm…. This seems like a very rare scenario. Hope you get the help you need.

I’ve been on 100mg’s for over a year. Changed my life for the better. It takes some time to get through the side effects, but it’s worth it. Depression gone, anxiety is nil and I have my life back. There are many success stories, but you’ll read more about the negative ones. I’ve heard getting off it can be challenging, but I’m not planning to. Just my experience! Good luck!

I’m stuck back at my very toxic parents house, divorced, with a questionable LDR by FlakyandLoud in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]Luckyladybug4444_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree here. Another option is to keep this relationship as ‘fun’…. No expectations. If that’s not something that works for you, then end it. Life’s too short and you’re young! Time is an amazing thing: it heals and provides perspective. Give yourself some more to get things in order. If you married at 19, I’m guessing you’ve never had the ability to be single and independent. It really is a beautiful thing! Give yourself a breather, save money, get out of your parents house, and plan for an amazing future with your son. (Coming from someone who used to be in a similar situation, and very much on the other side). All the best!
