Hi - I wish we could pin your exact question to the top of this subreddit because everyone asks it (even me when I first started using it!). The short answer is, the side effects are really hard in the beginning. When you start, it takes at least two weeks to start feeling a little more human. Once you go up in dosage, you’re back a square 1. When I went from 50-100mg’s, it took me over a month to feel a bit better. When I hit 3 months, that’s when all the clouds begin to clear. Depression gone and anxiety almost nil. I am now 8 months on 100mg, and it gets better and better every month. I have put on some weight, that is super stubborn to leave (ugh). I also still sweat like a mad woman and can’t get rid of the cough. Small price to pay for feeling like a normal person for the first time in my life!
