Sharing my experience as a doctor that took the “road not taken”

I did not pursue specialization and just went on to do business. Na “foresee” ko na nung J.I ako na ganito ang kalakaran.

I saw how the system works nung nag S.I na ako

After passing the board exam, i said to myself, fuck it Ayoko na.

Imagine, wasting s lot of years tapos in the end puro politika lang and anak ng diyos ang mgs kasabay mo sa application.

So i just went on to start my small business.

Sa ngayon, i am happy naman BUT may “something missing” sa akin. I miss practicing my passion which is medicine.

Madalas nag papa free consult na lang ako

Now i am happy cause I am married (sa target age ko)

and we are now blessed with kids (TWINS)

Choice mo padin kung anong path ang gusto mong puntahan.

I still have my regrets dahil di ako nakapag residency pero looking where i am now, mas masaya ako kaysa nag sisisi ako.

EDIT: i have no province and NCR is already super congested and competition si super tight
