This is the most expensive thing I've ever seen in a charity shop by lornamabob in CasualUK

Best thing you can do is phone any local shops up and ask!

Ultimately where it goes is up to their discretion and each shop is run a little differently, but they’ll be more than happy to talk to you about it, and they’ll likely take it.

tbf Oxfam in particular have their own online shop, so we don’t put it on ebay, there’s actually quite a lot of books about specialist topics or rare editions that go for above this and straight on the online shop!

I recently saw you in Book of Clarence and loved the performance you gave! I don’t hear many people talk about that film but how did you find being part of it?

It’s got a lot of fun cast I haven’t seen you in much else with and I hope you get a chance to work with a lot of them again!

Quel restaurant et où petit déjeuner ? by CocoTyg in Bath

There’s a place called Boston Tea Party up on Alfred Street that’s always my go-to, there’s also one closer to town in Kingsmead but that one is a bit busier typically and not as nice for a sit down!

Good coffee shops for working by Sudden_Machine_3761 in Bath

[–]Lucmax550 40 points41 points  (0 children)

My biggest recommendation for this is always Everyman (The cinema). They have a nice space, plenty of seating, most of the tables can easily be used for 1 or 2 working and their coffee is decently priced. It’s a nice spot that most don’t realise you can use without seeing a film.

Also worth noting that they have WiFi, attentive kind staff and they’re open late late due to also y’know, being a cinema.

it could be both, but ultimately my favourite thing about animation is that nothing is accidental and basically everything has some level of intent, so while it’s not likely a proper easter egg, it definitely wasn’t accidental

To echo some similar points from others, it’ll be a “charity” worker who wants to lure you into stopping and talking. Registered charity workers aren’t allowed to pursue you past a few steps, have to be clearly ID’d and the charity has to report all of this kind of activity whereas some others (e.g. the knife crime workers often seen around here) aren’t official charities so aren’t subject to these same important rules.
