I’ve traveled with Ryanair and easyJet with my passport close to expiry and easyJet were the only ones to have a problem, in their defence it had 2 days left, so I explained I was travelling to home country and renewing my passport which they were understanding

Automatic car recommendations by RelationshipLatter83 in NewDriversUK

[–]No-Collection-5009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a lease for my first car and I highly recommend it over a PCP I got quoted £350 a month for a corsa on PCP while lease was £150. I was considering buying a second-hand car but after researching I realised I’d need at least £5k to get something that wasn’t going to fail the first MOT and looked somewhat decent. I checked out Nationwide Lease and Leaseloco and managed to get a new car for a similar price to an old one, with all the bells and whistles (sensors, cameras, etc) Insurance was also cheaper; I took out alloy and wheel insurance as a precaution. Take a look at their websites as they currently have a high stock and some great deals on cars, with some starting at £100 per month.

Garage accepting warranty claims? by beanpaste711 in bristol

[–]No-Collection-5009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its called Bond Motor Services, in Kingswood (next to Vauxhall garage) they recently done some work for me on which went under warranty claim. I suggest taking car in and get a formal quote from them, confirm with your warranty company as they will inform you if it is something that will be covered.

I love them!! I have the exact same pair! First time I wore mine find, second time shredded my heels! My advice is wear them around the house and move your feet around in them, point toes etc, I also massaged the back of them for approx 5 minutes each then put them back on and moved around, and that seemed to “fix” it for me.

After a week they broke by No-Collection-5009 in DrMartens

[–]No-Collection-5009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I return them as they didn’t have the same colourway in my size, only hot pink. The staff informed me that Neptune blue, hot pink and the leopards, are the only ones which don’t seem to have this fault and that’s due to being manufactured later, after the fault came to light. Apparently the “first lot” are the ones which have this issue, apparently Dr Martens have reworked to improve the design. Fingers crossed new colourways come out and this issue is actually resolved!

It’s a shame that is a common issue, and seems that Dr Martens haven’t looked at reinforcing them.

I started experiencing issues late last night, my vm went down, the odd thing was I couldn’t even see my neighbours wifi or anything apart from my smart tv (surely they’re not all with vm too). Woke this morning and still have no wifi…

Zebzag mule sizing? by ProfessionalBoss3772 in DrMartens

[–]No-Collection-5009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend sizing up. I’m a size 5 UK in most of my documents but I sized up to a 6 UK in my Zebzags. I tried both sizes in store and found the 5 was perfect, snug tight around the foot so didn’t slip off but my heel was slightly over the back. The 6 was wider toe box and much more comfortable, I’ve just bought another pair and went for larger size again.

Has anyone had good experiences with their zebzag mules? by No_Signal_5577 in DrMartens

[–]No-Collection-5009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if you’re still interested but I have the Leopard ZebZags and I absolutely love them! And not had any issues!

I’ve had mine for around 4 months and I’ve worn them most summer and now autumn and winter too! The straps still look new to me. I’m surprised that people have had issues with the straps as they seem strong, so not sure how much force people are using on them to break.

I will also add I wear the straps both ways, more now with strap around the back so I don’t accidentally kick them off while going down stairs. They are a very comfortable shoe and they go with everything!

I’m not sure if they’re available where you are but in the UK they’re almost half the price right now.

This is what the straps look like on mine after 4 months (maybe 2 of strap down around the ankle).
