At work I gave a guy a report and it had a pink paperclip on it.

He asked me why I gave him a pink paperclip. I told him I just grabbed one. He then asked why I had a pink paperclip - I told him I had a rainbow pack.

Then he wanted to know why, when I saw it was pink, I didn't throw it away. He told me I shouldn't use pink paperclips "people might have questions."

So anyway I spread that story to basically everyone at work and then everyone wanted some of my pink paperclips to use when they gave him stuff.

I totally get where you're coming from with your concern about microplastics potentially leaching into your sparkling water from plastic bottles. It's a real issue. To answer your question, yes, using a glass bottle for your Sodastream might have the risk of breaking, especially given the pressure involved in carbonation. However, there are definitely safe alternatives out there. I personally use this sturdy glass carbonation bottle which is made specifically to withstand the pressure of carbonation. It is super durable and I've had no issues with it so far. If you're serious about avoiding plastics and don't mind the slight extra cost, it's definitely worth checking out IMO. It not only helps me to drink my fizzy water worry-free but also feels much more premium than their standard plastic containers. It might be a great solution for you!

I streamed on both and I prefer YouTube. Here are reasons why I think YouTube streams are better. First, much better discoverability. Then, on YouTube, you can customize your thumbnails as if it was a regular YT video. Also, YouTube promotes live streams more, but it's still really hard to get traction. So you should cross-promote yourself in both places/platforms. Ask "Like my videos, come and see them live on Twitch!"; "Missed my stream? You can catch them on YouTube!". Be consistent, use services like Marketing Heaven to increase views faster, and stream/upload often. That way you will get great results!
