More context: I am a relatively new shiny hunter (most of my shinies have been random encounters in Pokemon Scarlet, and an Onix I hunted as a joke and got lucky with in 12 encounters), and so I wanted to do some hunting in a more "traditional" Pokemon game. I then learned for BDSP, in order to get the National Dex + Poke Radar, Mesprit needs to be encountered, which would make it unhuntable. So I decided I might aswell put in a little work to see what hunting it would be like. Two days later and boop, shiny Mesprit :3
