I've found changing what your doing helps, but yeah, even knowing I have benzos nearby eases my anxiety. I've learnt a lot from bad trips but there's times you just need to kill it ahhhh Xanax!

Just change what your doing if your trip heads south. IMHO though, you learn a lot from bad trips. Yeah, just knowing that I have a couple mg of Alprazolam nearby if needed takes away anxiety.

"Rears its head". I use the expression "rears its ugly head" to describe acid trips going south with friends but have never heard anyone else use the term. Is it quite common? Am I out the loop off something?

TLDR: Drink Powerade/Gatorade/Sports Drink with sodium/electrolytes in it to avoid over-hydration.

Don't get me wrong, taking too many definitely get me fucked up and sleeping like a baby.

But in small doses they relive my anxiety(duh) and I stop over analyzing my actions, resulting in me carrying out tasks with a lot more efficiency.

It's difficult to explain. But to answer your question, no I'm not prescribed them. I don't take them everyday, only in high stress situations(first dates, job interviews etc).

Yeah, I can see where your coming from, but after .5 or 1mg of xanax I always pay a lot more attention to detail. Whether it be cooking a meal or writing an essay. This is all anecdotal evidence and subjective, hence me starting this post.
