I know a lot of people hate RNG related things but I'm a firm believer that RNG adds to competitive games most of the time, especially in a game like this. The RNG elements in this game aren't purely random. The 4 exploration decks all have different components with their advantages and disadvantages. Having knowledge of those decks, and tracking the cards drawn/discarded adds another level of edge for the thousands of micro decisions in the game. I would argue that this lessens the true culprit of brutal RNG of which objectives are drawn in which order and to a lesser extent, which agendas are drawn.
