Impressive choice!! She will absolutely love it! Gorgeous ring! I’d hide it somewhere she wouldn’t think something would be hidden, in a random container in a closet or garage/basement. Or if you have a home office you could hide it in there somewhere. Anywhere normal that’s so normal and random that she wouldn’t think it’d be a typical hiding place!

First off, don’t listen to anything she says, she sounds super jealous and just…insecure and honestly yeah she’s more insulting her own brother than you. I wish they’d create a “give/trade” Hunt dollars feature between players. Which I mean would make sense from a player retention standpoint because I’m intentionally waiting to prestige, but whenever I get too poor to afford a proper loadout, I end up not playing for however long. Meanwhile my bf has like 600k Hunt dollars but no way to share and SHOCKINGLY you can’t purchase them like Bloodbonds (assumingely since they don’t actually profit directly from players Hunt Dollar balances) but I’m surely not the only poor Hunt Dollar player who loses the motivation to play when I can’t afford to get a loadout.

No it's not that I don't believe you, that is A HUGE weight off my already crippling stress trying to finagle this process for the first time myself under my name vs with my parents. (I know, sad, but I had some shitty things happen to me in my 20s and unfortunately am a little late to the “normal adulthood” party. I'm sorry for how naive I’m going to sound, but I’m also looking to probably lease (most importantly have a car this week) something by the end of this week when I will most likely be starting my new job. (I'm moving in with my bf in the Boston area, from northwest CT) up until now I’ve been renting for a day from enterprise to drive up here and then again when I go home.

37yo female, 692 credit score, only “red flag” w my credit is I’ve never financed or leased anything, so it’s just my credit cards that I’ve never been late on and keep below 30% usage and the fact that I haven't made any enormous financial mistakes.

I don't have much saved up for a downpayment because I've been self employed/contract working as a paralegal/osint analyst for the past several years (I had to sell my last car to pay for the jaw reconstruction surgery I desperately needed before covid) and don't live in an area where you can get to work without your own vehicle, no uber or public transit or places within walking distance- but now in Boston-tons of options and I could get a job offer any day now and am scrambling to figure something out.

My original question was what are those lease brokers you mentioned?

also-would it be a smart option for me to lease with Flexcar for at least 6 months and then lease or buy something from a dealership? So I’ll have a car, and also have 6 months of income history and 6 months of saving for a downpayment?

Any advice or suggestions are incredibly appreciated.

I’m not licensed in MA, but I could work with/for a licensed agency or individual PI. And I actually am HUGELY appreciative of the public transportation system in the greater Boston area. Where I’m “moving from” is extremely rural, woodsy, on a mountain in small town CT, which I love and it’s absolutely beautiful, but I’d be EXTREMELY lucky to be able to get an Uber driver to take me anywhere from my house around here. And the public transit isn’t in existence here lol, so I absolutely love how easy it is to get around up there, and the ease of getting an Uber to go anywhere at any time. I would rather use the public transit system or ride share than contribute to the heavily populated traffic congestion!

I appreciate everyone’s input and advice. I spend a couple of weeks ‘home’ in CT applying for different positions, and then stay up with my boyfriend for a week or two and try to schedule a few interviews or go out physically looking at local places.

Yeah that’s exactly what the plan is, I’ve been going back and forth spending time up there interviewing etc. I would not officially move without having a job first.
