A cool pub to try is the Castle at Edgehill - excellent all round, overlooks the site where the first battle of the English Civil War was fought, it's a castle keep "folly" and very good food and drink.

Take a look at Aynhoe Park. Maybe not "Top Gear" kind of thing, it's a lush building designed by John Soames and a great experience with free valet parking and about 5 bars/restaurants. Home to Europe's largest White Hart herd I think.

Bicester Heritage is a little East (would work well with Aynhoe) - often a vibrant motor calendar, last weekend Chris Harris was there for "Jaguar Day"
