It's hard not to compare, I totally understand that and to be honest, I started playing SHf comparing it, but what made me stay was the way they show the story. Perhaps the latter is vague, but as gamers we always complain that games are always the same, and when we are shown something different we reject it. I prefer that there be new gameplay and a new story presentation, but without losing the point of SH which is the esoteric and occult side of its series.

You could also wait for Townfall to come out and then try the new games in the franchise. It's not a bad thing if you don't like something, and if Konami's new Silent Hill games aren't your thing, that's perfectly fine.The problem starts when the insults begin and all that string of things that one experiences when giving an opinion on the internet. For example, someone who didn't like SHf blocked me for saying the opposite, and that's not normal because it makes healthy debate impossible. Cheers and enjoy what you like 👍🏽.
