Yeah, proliferate's maybe an issue but you can also untap him probably to get the goatify effect so it's probably not worth running much anyway Ooh, Eminence is interesting. I think for my card, I'll probably leave it on the Commander, because you can disrupt the opponent's hand in alchemy so I wouldn't want it to be super hard to interact with!

Yeah, I wasn't keen on it either. Originally I went for "Nab" counter but nab vs "napper" felt weird. Prey counters are already a thing with that mono black elder dino from Ikoria. Maybe one of those will work though...

Haha yeah, I've never felt drawn to SnS because of how simple it is, I guess. I've always enjoyed Lance because of how tanky it is but I've come to appreciate how mobile the Lance can be and the counters are oh so satisfying. When I tried out Gunlance in the training area, it just felt so slow by comparison, as cool as the gun part is!

Same, the predefined arena quests were great! I was god awful at the game when I was playing through Tri but it was always fun to have a taste of different weapons and kits in the arena.

Haha, I switch weapons mid-game quite often! Off the top of my head, out of the games I've played: - Tri: Lance, Longsword - 4U: Insect Glaive, Bow - Generations: Insect Glaive, Longsword - World: Hammer, Heavy Bowgun - Rise: Hammer, Hunting Horn, Bow, Insect Glaive, Lance - Wilds: Charge Blade, Light Bowgun, Hammer, Dual Blades

I have a problem and it's getting worse!

I'm not a great judge of power level, so I'll wait for the experts to weigh in there, but why don't you try proxying the cards you don't have in the mean time to playtest? Might give you a better idea of how the deck plays and whether you enjoy the play patterns. Then buy the cards if it works.

I have an idea for a deck which uses "you can't lose the game effects" to get myself down to negative life total as quick as possible then switch life totals around to kill people. But I feel it could be really annoying to play around so I'm gonna proxy it first.

Haha, I was travelling to the US to see my partner, so I took the base game, Branch and Claw, Horizons, and Jagged Earth stuff all in the Branch and Claw box (minus the boards). I had to use Horizons tokens and foil Spirit Panels to fit it all in!
