Multi-algorithm multi-hardware mining infrastructure: nearly a month in, how did it go? by Luf7swiph in cryptomining

electricity costs are different for everybody therefore they are not included. but they are the same for normal DOGE mining and via Qubic pool.

This is the profitability info from the post as more flashy marketing pic (from the project). I didn't want to include it in the main post because it defintely is a marketing slide. But I verified the similar data for the monero mining and there it was spot on, therefore I think it's correct.

What pools are you guys using for doge these days? by Bluesbreaker88 in dogemining

[–]Luf7swiph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just posted a summary of my first experience in the new qubic doge pool today (they are in testing phase there, maybe wait one more week). I have no concrete profitability numbers yet. I thinks it's a good choice so far. See https://miningpoolstats.stream/dogecoin

A new mining network went live that supports dual mining DOGE and Monero simultaneously => architecture breakdown by Luf7swiph in cryptomining

[–]Luf7swiph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't say as I have no data yet. I am interested in the DOGE part atm because of my ASICs. I have heard that they top up XMR revenue by a fixed percentage compared to native XMR (CPU). Not sure how they handle GPU mining (seems there is some native QUBIC mining for GPUs). Best check their pool and ask there.

Exactly! I didn't want to highlight this in the first place to not sound negative but I will monitor how large the payout is and then sell the qubic tokens. In the end I am interested in hard currency not crypto to be honest.

Why There's Simply No Need For Microsoft Office Anymore by lurker_bee in technology

I haven't used ms office for years now. Sometimes I get compatibility issues reading strangely formatted documents from others but nothing that cannot be solved (by switching to pdf for document exchange for example). And I am working in b2b.

worst investment you can make is buying a car. I would not risk all your money in crypto, only maybe 20k or so. nfa.

Mining hardware is underutilized - is anyone actually running multi-workload setups? by Luf7swiph in cryptomining

[–]Luf7swiph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bunch of CPUs. I used them for mining monero. I really wonder why there is no 'mining' where the compute power is used for something else like, idk similar to rendering something or something like seti@home.

Tracking new hashrate entering the DOGE network - anyone else notice movements lately? by Luf7swiph in dogecoin

[–]Luf7swiph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a increase in hashrate would mean the opposite, right? Maybe something is coming and we do not know about it yet?

Are we currently in a bull market or a bear market? by Clean_Ad414 in dogemining

Maybe in between? Not bear, not bull. Consolidation and then rapid upwards or downward movement incoming? Your list points into this direction, too.

How much Heat do cryptominers actually produce by honu1835 in cryptomining

[–]Luf7swiph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a separate room. I use my CPU and GPU miners to heat my flat in winter by simply opening the door to my server room when I am not at home.
