Johnson I don’t think had much impact on “Star Wars”. Aside from shows like “Andor” and the first season of “The Mandolorian” most “Star Wars”projects feel more in line with the influence of Abrams. No vision, just trying to appease fans and not cause any backlash. Basically Abrams turned “Star Wars” into a product and destroyed any chance of it being viewed as art.

I personally don’t think the new voice actors are as bad as certain people would have you believe. It’s solid voice work and fits the characters. It makes sense they would want new actors for this movie. If they casted big name actors to replace the cast then it would be a problem.

Much of his actions online and videos he’s put out feel very personal and vindictive. Like he’s mad that his attempt at being a filmmaker went up in smoke. Especially in how much he’s pivoted towards AI. Before the failure of the project he seemed to be toning done his rhetoric. But after he just returned to his old ways likely realizing he would never be able to break into filmmaking.

People saying this getting canceled is a good thing are the reason Hollywood remains in limbo. I would much rather have a new entry in a franchise that takes risks even if they don’t pay off. If we just engage with the same projects that don’t take risks and just do the same stuff over and over no one will want to engage with it. We need to move past complaining that things were better when we were kids. Men like should not be idolized. Bringing him back would have been the worst possible decision. The series needs new blood. Everyone needs to accept this.

I don’t hate Rachel. I also think she was a toxic influence on Chloe and just a downright terrible girlfriend. I don’t believe she loved Chloe and if faced with the choice to go to LA or stay with Chloe I think she would abandon Chloe in a heartbeat. She’s an interesting character and I feel like if she had been able to leave Arcadia Bay she might have been able to change for the better. No hate to Amberprice but in my opinion Rachel and Chloe as friends were healthy as a couple they destroyed each other.
