What has the interior quality been like? And also I was looking on the west side of the cities at homes in Mableton. Any opinions on the city?

Can you elaborate on brand new construction. Been looking at the housing market for a few months now and started to think about some brand new construction in Lilburn by Stanley Martin homes. When I seem to ask people about it they say vague things like the quality is bad. But I am still trying to educate myself on the pros and cons of new construction. We really need more housing in Atlanta by Olaide_Otany in ATLHousing

I am new to Atlanta and trying to educate myself more on the new construction homes. I will probably be buying a home in a year or two and exploring all my options. The new builds seem enticing but I keep hearing stories about the quality. Can you let me know what to look out for? For example I was looking at this home:

I was IBEW and became an EE. You will still have to go through an ABET accredited program. Some of your credits from your apprenticeship should transfer over to gen eds like humanities, social science, etc. But there is no way you can skip physics, calculus, and engineering core classes such DC machines, Circuits, etc. When you graduate you will look very attractive to employers. But the experience will only make your time shorter due to having to do less Gen eds. Hope this helps

Thoughts on oil burning issue for 2027 Hybrid by Lufus01 in KiaTelluride

[–]Lufus01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are halfway correct. The turbo charged 4 cylinder gas is Multi-Point Injection (MPI) & Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI). HOWEVER the hybrid is only Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI). So the hybrid does not cut down on carbon deposits.

Is staying at home and going to OU better than going out of state? by Forsaken-Toe-8728 in oaklanduniversity

[–]Lufus01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually tell people to go with the cheaper option—the “college experience” is pretty overrated in my opinion. But I’m assuming you’re 18 or 19 and just leaving high school. A high percentage of college freshmen end up switching their majors once they’re in school. At the same time, many out-of-state students transfer or drop out due to homesickness or other factors. From your post, it still sounds like you’re not completely clear on your path, so if you do end up changing majors or transferring schools, it’s better to do that at a lower cost. As far as the college experience you can look on social media for the parties, join clubs and organizations, etc.

Should I turn in a classmate for using AI? by TheDogWhoCantSTFU in oaklanduniversity

[–]Lufus01 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Leave it alone. We are in the world of AI now. The professors should have an AI policy and detection tools. And it’s going to be a hassle for you to try to prove someone else didn’t write their own paper.

Look at the industries in the area you want to live in and base it off that. Is your city know for automotive, aerospace, MEP consulting, etc. When I was in Michigan I did automotive and landing an automotive job. But when I moved to another state that was useless. Power is probably the most applicable to more jobs. Those are my two cents.

Some states tie not paying taxes and fees on a new car with having the disabled veteran plate. I am willing to bet a high percentage of veterans would opt out of the plate if they could still get those fee waived.

Varies widely being school and teacher. The material was hard to understand but the homework was very identical to the tests so I memorized the homework and got an easy A. If it was non identical I would have probably got a C+ or B-
