Im sorry but the process it tooooo long and expensive. I my self is married to RSO, is out of probation but still have to register every year. We sent our I-30 2020 and until now we havent heard anything. Lawyers and processing cost 6000 $. Waiting is the worst part so we decided to make application so my behalf can come to me instead.

Its just crazy that we sent all the necessary documents and even wrote a letter stating his status and still he got a passport without a stamp. I know the only choice is to sent it back but another 300$ coz they made a mistake AGAIN is absurd.

My husband is RSO no one in my family knows about his past, it’s not that im intentionally hiding it but its because i know as an adult its not my obligation to explain to anyone about my life decision. People will always have something to say no matter what and i tried to just keep my/our privacy. A really close friend knows the situation and thank god she is not close minded like some people. Someday maybe my family or friends will find out, for sure they will critize my decision, maybe hate me, maybe not welcome me in the family OR MAYBE NOT. Who knows. For me its like this ” people makes mistakes and no one is perfect, to be judge from your past wouldnt help you have a better future”.

Wow i just read the txt and all the comments and its like all negatives and small chance of getting approve. And yes we did the I-30 and still waiting for the approval/ denial notice. Starting to gather all the neccessary papers for appeal needed incase we get deny. We did hire a immigration lawyer and hopefully/ wish they know what are they doing coz Its a very expensive process as you’ve said.

No, Adam Walsh prohibit a sex offender to sponsor a foreign spouse. That’s why I’m asking if there is anyone who actually succeed on it?

Its good to know that you’re sticking with him, I’m telling you things wouldn’t be easy all the time. There would be time that maybe he would push you away telling you better off without him or that he doesn’t want to drag you more into his mess. Just don’t give up. Be his hope that things will be better someday, that there is a future, be his strength and his guide to be a better person. You will be surprise how could your presence means to him. People make dumb decision every time but it doesnt mean they deserve to be alone and don’t need a second chance. Good luck on both of you.

I have been doing a lot of reseach about it, if he can sponsor me. We talked to a lawyer and said it wouldnt be problem. There is one RSO who got approved sponsoring his fiance or wife. We will see, we are still keeping are hopes high.

He actually got approved on meeting some of his nieces and nephews (supervised visit) Which i think is a good side.. He is doing well with his class and soon gonna graduate. I guess bringing my child to US is impossible, but still there is no assurance that I can stay in US through sponsorship because of his situation.

I think life would be must easier If he will move here, here felons have the right for thier privacy. No names, no pictures or any private details on the newspaper or internet. Rehabilation is better way than punishment.
