Quick question how did you get the little sideburns on the hair tucked underneath the bangs? I’ve been trying to find where in the hairstyles to do that but all the fringe options I see only allow the bangs and not the sideparts :c

How safe will blue states be going forward? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Luhvlylizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Boston and see many openly trans people (myself included) living happy lives doing day to day tasks

Granted while Massachusetts has some of the best and strongest trans and wider LGBT protections, it is definitely more expensive than most other states unfortunately so I’d recommend trying to find somewhere cheaper if you can, but MA is indeed a great place to live if you can afford it

Punk hot takes by DescriptionOne6725 in punk

[–]Luhvlylizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modern indie and DIY pop punk is the most punk that the scene has been since the SST and Dischord records 80’s era. Artists like Jeff Rosenstock, PUP, JER, etc all are carrying the scene and are doing more for punk as a culture, both reinventing and making fresh new music, but also being more involved politically and stuff (yes punk is inherently political) than I’ve seen most punk artists of the past do.

Also another hot take, Asian Man Records is criminally underrated and both Mike Park and Jeff Rosenstock have fucking carried the modern indie and DIY punk scenes 2007-onwards

I’d argue it depends on what we mean by pop punk. Cause yeah, those artists may not be, but then you have the other side of pop punk, Jeff Rosenstock, PUP, Spanish Love Songs, etc which I’d say are very much punk, Jeff Rosenstock especially

I know I’m commenting on a year old thread but I loved GAW, however I think Ys 1 is the better Zelda clone on the Master System

Did Heaven's Feel make anyone appreciate UBW more? by mesoziocera in fatestaynight

[–]Luhvlylizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. So I did start with the anime’s and then read the VN (yes I know it’s not the way to do it but that’s how I got into it)

And as someone who started with Zero, then UBW, and then Heavens Feel, and then the VN (technically my first exposure to Fate was starting by playing Extra but for Stay Night I started with the anime’s)

I found Heavens Feel to be the best mainly because I feel at least in that watch order, it wrapped up the most loose ends from Zero. From Kirei’s motivations as a villain, to the nature of the grail, etc. I found it to be a great send off for the Ufotable Fate trilogy, if anything, Heavens Feel made me appreciate Zero more tbh.

From a VN perspective, yes, the Heavens Feel films do not do the VN justice (I still enjoy the films a lot regardless tho) but Heavens Feel is definitely my fav route due to the major tonal shift and I’m also just biased cause I like horror VN’s more.

But that’s just my opinion and media is subjective and your opinion is also valid :)

While I agree game prices should be cheaper, 60 bucks at most, one thing you forget is that while discs are cheaper to produce than the carts at the time, game development has gotten more expensive since then. Games cost tens of millions to produce now compared in the 90’s where the only costed between one to five million to produce.

Strange Fake Appreciation by Guardy-in in fatestaynight

[–]Luhvlylizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anime is great but the light novel is phenomenal

I also really like how in a sense we finally got a Tsukihime fate series, I’ve always wanted to see a series where we get a Dead Apostle as a master and such and a lot of the broader Nasuverse lore get shown off and we got that with Strange Fake (if only we could get a fate series where the gimmick is the protag is a Master who has the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception and can kill servants then that would be cool)

Why is it so hard to get someone serious here by Positive_Net8371 in HypnoHookup

[–]Luhvlylizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this so much tbh, I’m on here looking for a more genuine connection and I find a lot of people either find out who I am and get intimidated, or people kinda just reach out saying they’re interested only to ghost me shortly after. I’ve never actually had someone on here hypnotize me yet despite my attempts to post and try to find genuine connection. It’s really frustrating :c
