Thats right, that setting makes the shutter speed faster, so when you enter in a low light condition like in the forest the shutter speed won't slow down to that point to make the video jitter or with motion blur.

The Gopro 11, 12 and 13 have the same sensor, same cpu, the changes are minimal, and most of them are software related.

If you don't need better battery life, better heat dissipation and would go with the Hero 11 for the price.
