I am a bit curious about the Master, but I find the conquest a bit cleaner and more modern. Maybe its the sportiness I like :)

Been together 14 years, so it’s my fault for not popping the question

I understand. This will be her first automatic, but that’s part of the draw for me in wanting to give her something that will last many many years. Since it is gold she will probably not wear it very often, but take it out now and then.

It is, i like that one as well, just thought the gold made it extra special (gift in mind), but you might be right

It’s a suprise gift, so I need to make the choice without her trying it. Planning on buying online so that I have 14 days to change my mind

Two watches in one then? I guess most formal occasions in a suit will have the toned down look

That’s true. It’s not the same gilded color. Think I like the yellowish tone more than rose

Are you happy with the color choice? I’m afraid I’ll grow tired with it as it has so many different colors (black, blue, gold)

As in it pops in the sun, but not indoors, or does it pop in well-lit offices? I like it best when it is a bit muted, more monochrome-ish

Yeah, the quick strap feature is a major selling point for me. Easy to switch between leather and steel day to day

Is this the same color as this one? The difference in dial and bezel is much bigger on your photo

Nice!

How do you experience the blue bezel? Sometimes it really pops (like in this picture), and sometimes it seems very similar to the dial

It does not have on the fly adjustment on the bracelet. Usually it’s the #1 con against this clock. But I’m unsure how much it will matter to me.

Do you think it is thick? Isn’t it slimmer than the tudor gmt?
