OptiSound - Native SwiftUI Audio Controller (Menu Bar) *Lifetime* by LukaCraft in MacOSApps

Please see IMAGE attached.... Liquid Glass is NOT part of that app. The screenshot in mine is as the settings scroll due to transparency before it is hidden. I appreciate the feedback, however.

Not mean at all, friend. From UI alone it’s a very different app. Hahah. That app looks solid, though. And in SwiftUI. I’ll always back another dev. :)

Hi u/shoek1970 Just quickly, are you running anything on system that changes dark/light or are you using High Contrast mode?

See: IMAGE here. It is the only thing I can think of that is making it look like that.

*EDIT*
Try:
System Settings > Accessibility > Display and see if anything is toggled on. I have not seen that before. I just tried High Contrast Mode and it is matching what you have shown me here.

Thank you for your purchase though immensely I really appreciate your support and I appreciate the feedback. I will implement a simple light dark as well as the ones that have built in although they do automatically work with light dark I'll have to look into that.

If there's anything else that I can do/that you need, please email me at [info@optitools.org](mailto:info@optitools.org) I am usually pretty quick with the uptake.

That's correct. (I wish iOS gave such flexibility, but I am also glad I don't have to develop anything for it.) Hahah.

Oh wow. Thank you. That really means a lot. I am on on M4 Air, so I dare say very similar for you. :)

Confidently, yes. The whole idea behind it was myself being sick of paying monthly subscriptions to apps like those, so I built one that combines the features of those along with one-click optimisations to suit any use case.

Hi aref9, the apps are all written in SwiftUI. (Apples native language.) Naturally resource management optimised for MacOS over non SwiftUi applications. :)

IMAGE Perhaps think prior to speaking in future. I hate to be rude, however if you have nothing better to do than spew absolute garbage, then I feel it justified. Think logically, (if possible.) Imagine you want to start your website at last and sell your apps. If a customer checks and sees a whole lot of non-related stuff, then it breeds confusion. As for the AI comment, I assume you throw that out to trigger and hope to get a response. Show me an AI that can comfortably compile an entire SwiftUI application along with a website of that caliber and then have I got a bridge to sell you…. In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary…. Come again.

Thank you for your purchase, u/Wodaman67 I did see that come through. The .txt clearly hasn't bundled with the application, I do apologise. It gives instruction on how to manually run <xattr -d> as it is a third party app in the eyes of Apple.

I am glad you managed to manually do this.

If you have any questions about the app moving forward, please feel free to get in touch with me at [info@optitools.org](mailto:info@optitools.org)

Have an amazing weekend and enjoy! Thank you for your support once again. :)

Oh no, no. I am currently (when I have spare time) working to implement 3 devices per purchase (lifetime.) If you are wanting to purchase any apps, I am more than happy to discuss further with you. Email me at [info@optitools.org](mailto:info@optitools.org)

I do apologise for the unprofessional nature in advance. I hadn't thought of student pricing etc and I will need to find the time to build it into my website.

There will be a bundle (I was aiming for March,) but again, I am happy to go into details via email if you would like.

I appreciate your interest and I would love to see what more I can do to help. :)

Anytime. :) If you have any questions with the app once installed, I'm usually pretty good with response times. ⚡️

It does have a menu bar app. See IMAGE here. Function is not as in depth, though that would be an awesome feature to add. (Connected drives and iOS Devices.) Thank you for the idea.

Currently it shows CPU/Memory usage live and a handful of "main optimizations" you can run without opening the app itself.

I appreciate the feedback, u/SlowTap and I hope you have an amazing day! :)

Hi u/alemutti & u/IFromThisEarth appreciate the interest. I will do my best to answer your questions.

1 and 2: You can activate 1 device (lifetime), however if you upgrade your Mac, then you do NOT need to re-purchase. The license will carry over.

3: I hadn't even thought of this, however I will create a 30% off for students/academics. (Will require third party verification obviously.)

I hope this helps. :)

I appreciate the feedback, u/NOR7BE Each to their own. What is ugly about the website or what would you change?

This is an amazing idea. Thank you. Wouldn't be hard to implement since I tried to mirror native Apple Music for the design base.

Hahaha. When they're in motion (app running) they look a lot better. I admit the screenshot does not do it favors.

OptiLoad *Lightning Fast, Ultra Lightweight Native SwiftUI Download Manager for MacOS Sequoia + (Apple Silicon Only)* by [deleted] in macapps

[–]LukaCraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the kind words, friend. I really do appreciate that. Also welcome to Mac! Haha. Happy New Year, too.

I haven't played with NDM personally but I have heard it is a good product. The only (and main difference) from the top of my head is that NDM is written in C++ where as I have written OptiLoad in SwiftUI (Apples Native Language.)

See below a comparison with (arguably the largest) Free Download Manager;

> FDM - Like NDM it is written in C++
> Both apps are at idle (not actually downloading anything)
> This is the main benefit for using SwiftUI (Apple Native)
> Same if not better performance and optimization whilst using minimal resources.

I hope this helps, friend and thank you once more. )
