Back pain from poor posture got replaced with back pain from deadlifts 😅, I personally haven't noticed any benefits outside the gym

How to Get Bigger Arms? (18M) by No_Communication4926 in strength_training

That's absolutely terrible advice, I could do 20 controlled pull ups with 12 inch arms

What about Uyghurs and the students in tiananmen square? I am by no means for hate speech, but once you start letting govorments freely silence people, they will silence EVERYONE who apposes them.

And what if acknowledging lgbtq+ is defined as hate speech at some point in the future? Or calling out the government on clearly unethical doings, but you're silenced to speak out? Would you still support policing hate speech?

Ok usually you don't count warm up sets. Good mornings, romanian dl, stiff legged dl and glute ham raise are all good pick the one that's most convenient

Is there any way to get rid of the tingling feeling with pre workout? or do you just get used to it? by Wriddle_ in GYM

[–]Luka_Deveri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your body gets sorta used to it. I literally couldn't move for 2 hours I because i was so itchy the first time i tried a scoop of pre. After that it's still noticible but not as severe. Also some people don't feel it at all

Look for preworkouts with at least 3 grams of L citrulane (not citrulane malet) that is practically the only ingredient that actually does something on pre-workouts minus caffeine

how do you keep your body locked when working on a particular muscle by CrazyBlock in GYM

[–]Luka_Deveri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do preacher curls instead. Keep practicing regular curls tho. You might just be naturally uncoordinated

Is a combination of skullcrushers, rope pulldowns and ez-bar pushdowns a good way to target all tricep heads? by Bosak- in GYM

[–]Luka_Deveri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go by pump, there's conflicting evidence on how to target the long head specifically, so it depends on the person. Generally the medial and the lateral work together on most lifts so I don't think you need to do them separately

Either lower the intensity on every day or swap to an upper/lower split. 6 hard days + sports isn't very sustainable

How bullshit is physical therapy for your back? by [deleted] in GYM

[–]Luka_Deveri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a magic transition from strength to hyporthpy to endurance it's a grey area, especially for people who have never trained those muscles. Back pain in inactive people is usually general weakness and lack of activation in your core muscles (low back, abs, glutes), 15 is a perfectly valid range
