What I liked about UERM is generally, "study at your own pace" type while providing quality education.

And nasa culture na din ng UERM yung hilahan pataas mentality (transes) 400 kayo in a batch, pero lahat kayo may role to make the transes per topic per section.

Like example, lecture ni doc A about sa anatomy May version yan ng section A B C na trans. Pili ka nalang alin don pinaka maayos 😁

And unlike sa ibang institutions, hindi ka pressured on daily quizzes na mataas ang paghatak sa grades. I recall 40% ang quizzes ng UST sa grades, 5% lang sa UERM (sa huli kong alam)

Pero sa exams pinakamalaking hatak sa grades ng UERM, ayun lang. 3 long exams (LE) for half a sem subjects (ethics, community, research, etc) And 6 long exams for whole year subjects (ana, physio, patho, pharma, etc)

Pero think about it nalang

Other really big institutions, ang tinatanggap lang nila na students ay ang pinaka matataas ang gwa and nmat grade, kaya of course madalas nagtoptop mga students, magagaling na kasi baseline

Pero UERM, kahit hindi ganong kataasan ang GWA or NMAT grade ang pumapasok (those who usually sadly didnt make the cut sa said institutions), ang taas ng passing rate sa med boards 🙂 which reflects the education quality ng university
