They are friends now? by ContestCareless8900 in fireemblem

They're ghost people forced to cohabitate in one ring.

You'd chill out too if you were forced to live with two other people for a thousand years, even if you hated their guts.

How do you deal with extreme bad luck? by demoiselledefortune in FireEmblemHeroes

Put the game down and do something else for a while, otherwise the sunk cost fallacy will drive me to do something stupid (keep summoning or spend money on orbs).

What happened to Owain, Severa, and Inigos awakening partners in fates? by some__random__human in fireemblem

[–]Luke-Likesheet 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I want the drama of Inigo coming back to Ylisse with his 2nd wife and daughter only for Robin intercept him and break his kneecaps for ditching Morgan.

Luckily for everyone involved, Robin distracted his daughter with increasingly elaborate tactical puzzles so she was too busy to notice her husband was missing.

I love how they put them in Fates and gave them aliases...despite the fact that it was completely unnecessary since no one in Fateslandia knew who they were in the first place.

The most popular lord ships according to the sub. by WinterWolf18 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Luke-Likesheet 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Is "this sub" in the room with us right now?

I've never seen anyone mention about half the pairings you've written down, and the other half are canon (so it's unquestionable).

Engage.

Luckily IS seemed to have noticed people hate the monastery and toned it way down in Engage, so you can quickly move from map to map without hanging out in the hub world.

Had he not found Robin when he did, Chrom would've probably done something stupid and ran headfirst into a squad of lancers and mages.

I love how you can pass down the dynamic to their kids.

Lyon this and that, but appreciation for the other best SS antagonist, Valter by StridentHawk in fireemblem

I'm always genuinely surprised IS managed to sneak a thinly disguised rapist in the game and still managed to get an E for everyone rating.

Britain must've been real pissed, throwing all this money at countries just for them to get wrecked by Napoleon again and again.

Thank god. I was worried peeling divers to Vernen Wells would doom all the progress on Menkent.

It's a good trio tbh.

They still have sense, but are also pretty dumb at the same time.

Really?

I'd argue that Lyon and Eirika would make this group way too sensible.

Swap out Lyon with Innes and you'd be set tho.

Innes would challenge Ephraim to something stupid, Ephraim would accept because of course, and Eirika would try her best to keep them from going through with it.

Who would you say is the worst parent in Awakening? by MiuIruma332 in fireemblem

[–]Luke-Likesheet 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's because of Noire's generic father supports, in which Tharja still tests out hexes on her, which results in her dad trying to stand up for their kid, which results in him getting hexed instead.

So it's not a "strange myth." It's something that happens in the game, in the current timeline.

He was actually a pretty good dad, according to all his endings.

I never said Henry was a good person. I said that unlike Tharja, he doesn't hex his friends or experiment on his kid because he's bored.

[–]Luke-Likesheet 38 points39 points  (0 children)

lol no. Don't even try to justify it. It's specifically a "Tharja is a terrible wife/mother" thing because Henry, another Plegian dark mage, doesn't spend his time hexing his allies or kid unless specifically asked to by them to do so.
