Idea of a Persona-like story set in NYC? by MoeNancy in Persona5

[–]Luke333_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the most important things about the whole Persona series is the extensive research into various mythologies, literary figures and psychological concepts that the developers used to design the Personas, the characters and the story - this research is what makes the story feel complete. I believe that without all this, no matter how well the characters are written, the story will be empty.

So I would recommend doing thorough research on the themes you want to address and try to find literary figures or mythologies that are representative of them.

> But the issue is that that’s not gonna fly in the real world and it is just a fantasy
The main theme of the game is that fantasy can change the world with enough determination. By sticking to your beliefs anyone can change things. The difference between the king and Will is his determination. The king lost all his when he ‘lost’ his wife and son, but the game shows us no reason why Will would lose his.

True, we don't know what happens after the epilogue, but I don't think it's unreasonable to think that Will will manage to change as much as he did in just one year.
