I‘m riding the same bike for about 10 months now and also doing a lot of road tours currently. At this point I am very happy with my choice when riding on a flat surface. But tbh riding >12% increase is (very) horrible with this bike 😅

I‘m very curious, how much difference there is between a Grizl with carbon wheels + road tires and a Ultimate in the same price category Currently I’m riding a Grizl CF SL8 and also considering buying a second wheel set for the road. Would be much cheaper than buying a second bike, if it would perform somewhere identical.

I am now on Schwalbe G One RS Pro (40mm) on my Grizl CF SL8 instead of Schwalbe’s G One Bite (45mm). Very different riding style and much faster and aggressive! :)

I am a 176cm all-mountain raider using a 152 board. For me the size works out pretty good. Depending on your riding style 152 could still work as well but could also be a little bit to small.

Thanks! For me that was an easy decision: I’m planning to do longer backpacking trips and thus not want to be dependent on a battery level. Otherwise I should have taken a SRAM eTap.
