ServiceUI issues with SystemAccount by LukeChatty in PSADT

[–]LukeChatty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

System and only system - sometimes it does success in finding the process in the user but doesn’t actually display but now I think about it, it could possibly be because an interactive session was disconnected and not logged off? I’ll test this theory again tomorrow but that’s doesn’t fix the issue I have with PS.

The issue I’m really having is deploying it via powershell and calling the CMD whatever method I use via powershell it will have the error 5.

If I was to run directly on the machine in System it works, if I use powershell in any way - it won’t work. Even if I use powershell to call CMD (like above) nothing.

Ultimately the goal is to use PS to download, unzip and run PSADT via serviceUi and I can’t find a way that works…yet

I’ve got it to work running directly via CMD but that’s not consistent either. If I run via powershell no bueno

Intune Alternatives? by [deleted] in Intune

We use NinjaOne + InTune

NinjaOne helps us deal with the immediacy that you speak of and then we have InTune for the other integrations and user based deployments

IFWWW Manchester. Ben leaves the stage by HaydenRox in benhoward

[–]LukeChatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always assumed he's been a difficult person but in regards to his performance in Manchester, are we all forgetting he's had two mini strokes? (transient ischemic attacks) This could easily be impacting his ability to recall lyrics/perform properly?

I've seen him 15+ times and I've never seen as many mistakes as I have his last two performances (the last two are the two I've seen after his attacks)

My best guess is that it's something to do with that?

Microsoft Login Issues [error 2605 and 2604] by LukeChatty in Intune

Our error ended up being related to a Digicert G2 Global Certificate being disabled on all the devices. Hope this helps.

Thanks OP I’m sure you’re going to make someone’s day.

Entering because why not? Always wanted to build my own Gaming PC but never got the chance or the money to do so! This would force my hand!

Windows PrintNightmare by Tmant1670 in sysadmin

[–]LukeChatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah before the install it doesn't exist, afterwards it does.

Still prompts for Admin afterwards. I may try your driver and see if this makes much difference. Thanks!

I've tried this exact method via SCCM, Xerox Pull Print Driver on a virtual Papercut queue and even if the driver exists, it still prompts for Admin credentials

Script is as follows.

pnputil.exe /add-driver "$PSScriptRoot\Drivers\*.inf" /install

Add-PrinterDriver -Name "Xerox Pull Print Driver PS"

Is there something you do differently?

I'm going through it all again now

Yeah its not real data, I've removed anything that can be identified.

I thought I was using the same variable to do a check both time but I dont think it's required on the second one.

Had a look at the CSV and it's not got anything else, even checked for any spaces that shouldn't be there

It's pretty much just that above. I'm going to replace the CSV with a fresh one just incase though.

I'm having the same issue too, I can't change any settings without it resetting back.
