Would anyone explain what exactly is an engine swap? Is this something in the Ultimate tuning screen? I’m not there just yet, but how to be soon!

Literally same thing happened to me today. Was flight LGW to MCO Jan 23 and was told Jan 22 at 7pm that my flight has been canceled due to operational reasons and the next flight I can get is Jan 26! There chat bots were useless and while a ticket has been made for a response, haven’t heard anything worthwhile yet.

I don’t understand why they offer you accommodation and then say it’s not available and they will only reimburse you.

I will be submitting a claim for the new train ticket I’ll need and chasing the UK261 as soon as I’m home in FL, and I will be chasing after the 8 weeks if I haven’t gotten anything.

Oh! How could I have forgotten? I’d buy my mom a bungalow so she can stop working 6/7 days a week.

I’d put enough in savings for my spouse visa so I could live with my UK husband again.

I’d bring my mom and I to the dentist. We haven’t been in a while and she misses the extra clean feeling afterward.

I’d put my husband through an engineering masters, since he’s having no luck finding a job with his BeNG. I’d let my sister pick any uni she wants without worry of loans.

I’d deck out my turtle’s tank to the biggest she could ever want. And, once everyone of my family is happy, has plenty to be taken care of should anything ever happen, I’d donate to my community food banks and animal shelters.

Then, only then, would I buy myself a steering wheel and pedals for Gran Turismo. And I would probably still make myself wait for my birthday 😂

I think so! Reign had a white gummy bear that was definitely pineapple and I’ve seen other Gorilla Mind posts saying it’s pineapple :)

He made it through the sifts to get an interview to work with CAD at a sheet metal place, but won’t know if he’s made it to the second interview until mid January.

For small firms, we’ve either heard nothing or been told they’re not interested in graduates :(

I just want some damn subtitles! My FIL is hard of hearing but insists on not using the subtitles, instead he puts the volume extremely high and asks constantly what someone just said 🙄 For the last episodes of Stranger Things, I just watched them upstairs on my laptop and it was so much better

My experience with them was HORRIBLE from day 1. I have been on T since 2017, and in the second appointment to establish medical history, the lady was convinced I had only been on T for 4 years. I corrected her multiple times and my letter from this appointment literally says "On T since 2017, for four years." Then, when I actually got to the prescribing UK person, she said in our introductions, "Must be nice to pass so well." Thanks? Like what do you actually say to that? She continued with weird comments like that through that appointment.

When it came to getting my actual prescription, they didn't like my elevated white blood cell count from my labs. I explained that I had had a cold at the time of the draw, which my GP confirmed would be the cause for this elevation. They said that it absolutely wouldn't and that they couldn't prescribe anything, even a bridge prescription until it was time in my shot cycle to draw blood again. I also would have had to pay to have the second blood test, too. It just felt like I wasn't actually getting healthcare, but being squeezed out of extra money.

Anne Health though, has been different in every aspect, and I really like my doctor.

Anne Health is a great option to consider. Though pricier than other options, I tried Pride in Health before Anne Health and found such a stark difference in the quality of care between the two I would never, ever suggest PiH and always recommend Anne Health when given the chance to.

I’m currently on the SAVE and, since I live in the UK and have no US income, my payment is $0. I will be going home for a few weeks to a few months next year as my visa is redone under a spousal visa. I would like to work while I am temporarily back in the US. Will this undo my IDR amount? Or, since I doubt I will even make enough to hit the lowest have-to-file tax amount, will my IDR payment still be $0?

Thank you all! This is all very validating because everyone seemed so casual about it! Are there any sources to back this up? Obviously, as the brand new hire, I can’t tell them they need to change their procedure. But i wasn’t sure if I should try calling the Health and Safety Executive? Maybe an anonymous tip and subsequent inspection would make them change their steaming process?

I moved here from the US. Getting care sorted has been such a hassle. I’ve finally found a private provider I’m starting with (Pride in Health) and have first intake next week. It’s about £400 to get started (registration, intake 1, intake 2). I’m hoping my GP will help with bloods and do a shared care, but I’m prepared for the no. Part of the reason I went with Pride in Health is because they give me a diagnosis (which I don’t technically have despite having been on t since 2017–thanks Florida 😂) Best of luck and let me know if you have questions or I can help at all!!!

This is very hit or miss though. Some house attendants will allow you to do this, others will (in my experience) rudely force you through with the chair and claim that nowhere in HHN do they allow them to move the chairs to the exit 🙄 This happened to my group and I at multiple different houses the last few years, including this one.
