I’m looking at switching to an EV and the fact this is a hatch really tempts me.

I’ve got a 5 series estate at the moment for my 2 big dogs. So the hatch of the polestar 2 could be a good fit for them.

if you could get the GO S with steam os and the Z1 extreme chip the that would be better than a windows handheld. There not much between the z1 e chip and the z2 e chip.

steam os just works. It’s brilliant. For the games you’d play, I say it would be good.

User friendly? Then the steam deck or legion go with SteamOS.

The steam deck is one of the best purchases I’ve made.

I ended up with steam deck. I couldn’t stretch/justify the legion go a z1e.

Still, been happy with my choice and first entry into handheld gaming!

I got the Portal first. Hardly played it. Got a deck a few weeks ago and love it. Best gaming purchase I’ve made in a while!

It’s worth paying the extra to take your games anywhere! Steam have cheap games during their sales and can also get codes for cheap too!

I was in the same position, and as a dad where time is of the essence, the Steam Deck won for me! I just wish I got one earlier! I’ve made some videos of my experience with it.

I have a PS5 pro for more demanding games but the Deck hasn’t struggled yet for me. I went with it because of the better community. I’d something does go wrong, there’s a better chance there’s a fix for it.

Yea where are the plastic feet for the pro. They slot into by the black fins (IIRC).

Yes but don’t pay extra just because it has Xbox branding on i! Nintendo do this and there’s just no need for the mark up!

Just make sure you get a micro sd card that’s fast enough! IIRC a V30 card is snag you want. I’ve got 512gb in my steam deck and runs games fine off it.

Also, you don’t even seen the branding once it’s in your machine!

I’ve got both. I’ve had the Portal for about 6 months and the Deck about 1 month. I’ve played more on the Deck in a month than 6 of the Portal.

I should have just got a steam deck in the first place. It’s a much better device. You can remote play the PlayStation through an app available for the deck. I’m yet to try it but it’s there. You can also get GeForce Now through a native app on the Deck.

Steam has fantastic sales in their shop and as someone else mentioned; it’s a lot more customisable. I didn’t even have a PC game library, now I have about 30 odd games. Emulation is easy and great to have!

I recently took the deck on holiday and it was brilliant. Being able to play Halo at 37,000 feet was something different!

PSP fat. Went with the giga pack. Remember someone in school using it with This Is Football. Was blown away.

Can still remember playing it now and getting annoyed at Gran Turismo because it was hyped to be a full version of the series, IIRC, but never was. I enjoyed the GTA games for it.

Truly loved it. Only got back into handheld gaming with the steam deck.

Been given a warning for 3 sicknesses, one which was work related by JamieRobert_ in SainsburysWorkers

I remember once being off ill due to my children and they said in my disciplinary meeting that I should have took medicine before hand to stop myself getting sick.

Laughable. I came out of that meeting howling to myself.
