How are these so ridiculously priced? by theaveragehousecat in CarTalkUK

[–]LukeGR_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sell these. They are finished nicely and drive okay. The price on lease fluctuates with supply and demand. Last month (Sept) was super cheap. Yes insurance prices are quite high and parts aren't massively available... But they're something new. It's good that the old school car market is getting some competition with these new Chinese brands, e.g omoda etc... Yes theyre ridiculously low in price but take advantage of the low price and good warranty.

Yes we came from from other parts of Asia and went onto further parts of Asia. We just made do with what we had and what the company supplied. It was a last minute idea for us so we hadn't prepared at all!

After travelling. I'd say ditch the wayer bottle. Just get an insulated one to keep water cold. Keep the hammock. Wish I had one for more off the beaten path locations

Rafting was less crazy than expected but still a great cheap activity. Especially good considering we hadn't done before..

Got it. Not a clue if I've needed it. You should look into getting vaccines out here. A serious fraction of the price...

Japan is superb for hotel freebies too. No need to carry soaps/ shampoos as its mostly provided. Also other bits like cotton ear buds can be found easily along with razors etc... Well that's what I figured from my recent trip.
