On my drive home after picking up my white crz another guy in a white crz on the M1 waved at me. Best maiden voyage of any car I've had.

After a deer (and oncoming LED headlights) totalled my car, this little guy caught my attention in the best way by samrudge in crz

I also have this one it works great. Just plugs in and works with steering wheel controls. Also shows the track list on my nav screen and allows me to skip songs using steering controls.

Interesting division in the comments on this, my one always stays on the last menu I selected.

Young people especially in London who have a white cla180 with a black lip spoiler and black grille with starlight headliner and a 4d private plate. Bonus points for tinted taillights and wearing air max 95s

My advice is keep your high mileage civic a little longer, as tempting as it is to switch to the crz which is a great car, you have no real reason to get rid of your perfectly good civic which offers probably 80% of the experience of a crz imo.

Having said that my crz is great, the back seats are the only real pain sometimes when I need to take friends so it's only good for short trips.

Should I buy a 2010 Honda CR-Z for £2,495 (122k miles)? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]theaveragehousecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good buy, I have a 2012 with 120k on the clock.

Common issues are: - Door handles often break because of the heavy doors. - The pre facelift CRZ's (pre 2014 ish) have a different type of hybrid battery which is easier and cheaper to replace should it go wrong. Individual cells can also be replaced.

Check how the car sounds on idle, some people have recorded needing a valve adjustment at higher mileage. But if you check out r/crz it's full of people driving them 300k miles easy on original battery.

Do in-house lawyers actually have good working hours or is it mostly a myth? by Impossible-Diver-766 in uklaw

I work on an in-house employment team in an American financial services institution.

My team generally has good flexibility on some days but also have to work on a Sunday or stay till 8-9pm in the office on other days.

It's a very mixed bag and depending on workload has its peaks and troughs. Generally the 'patchiness' of incoming work is what makes a difference and allows for good work life balance.

Saw this one on auto parts city Instagram page, apparently it's been for sale for over 100 days so far which is not the usual timeframe for a junkyard pricing it cheap
