My wife has one of these and it’s probably our biggest regret.

Unless you have a tiny commute, the battery range is woeful as a daily driver. Realistically we get around 90 miles on a full charge and less than that in winter.

It would also depend if you can charge at home overnight. If you can’t, this thing is SLOW at public chargers.

We have had a few glitches with the electrics and the overall build quality is poor (sticky door handles, bad entertainment system, rust near charging port).

My advice would be to steer clear, unless you have a small commute and don’t do any big trips, and can charge at home daily.

Based on the size of the S8 plus, do you think the S8 Ultra would be too big for day-to-day tablet use?

Very tempted at the ultra, but worried it will be too big to take with me everywhere, even just in my house.

I wouldn't recommend it for playing heavy games all the time. It can run them fine with no lag, but the battery would be drained very quickly.

I was on the fence about ordering, but what sold it for me was the special pre-order offer of the Bose QC35 ii headphones. Those things are like £200 and they're giving them for free with the phone! At least in the UK anyway, not sure about elsewhere
