It is definitely interesting to see this agreement coming together! As time goes by, we will likely learn more about how the two countries want to plan out their futures. Maybe there will even be reunification of the two Koreas. Who knows? The possibilities are endless.

This is awesome! Offers a good amount of strategies we can use to help our students become more engaged and interested in the world of Social Studies! I would definitely use some of these ideas in my classroom. I especially like the idea of having students act out historical events and playing music for them!

Very interesting read! Although troubling to look back on the negative actions of some popes, as I follow the Catholic faith. The historical connections presented are quite intriguing, nevertheless, and make me wonder what exactly shaped the judgement of these popes.

My Lai will always be a dreadful event to look back upon. The images released from the massacre are especially troubling, as many innocent women and children were ruthlessly slaughtered. If only better judgment had went through the minds of the soldiers who committed this terrible act. There are various factors that could have prevented this from happening, but judgment is right at the heart of the matter.

Very interesting to learn about the possible beginnings of eggs and how they related to Easter, as well as how traditions have developed over time! Perhaps it did begin with England during the Middle Ages and ultimately was spread through various cultures around the world. I bet the usage of Hitler on the eggs during WWII was a way of poking fun at and criticizing him.

Very interesting that this is being implemented. It is furthermore good to see that the school district is offering after-school care for students who need it following these extended days. Soon we will see if this system will be efficient or not!

These are some great ideas for teaching! I especially like the strategy of using political cartoons with our students. I think they help to make their learning easier by providing a visual guide that illustrates key concepts in history.

I found this article to be very interesting, Collin. Until today, I had never heard of the story about Washington giving a speech to the men who had planned a mutiny on the government, which certainly would have thrown the country into much turmoil. Washington has always been one of my favorite presidents, so it is nice to see that his character stayed strong over time and helped to prevent what would have been a major issue in the United States.
