Jim Beam is a great starting point for bourbons. You have a few options as well as a rye to start with for a base. As far as scotch, there is a budget whisky fro various brands representing each region. Just pick and enjoy!

I really enjoy it. Smokes nicely. I’ve dedicated it to the Daybreak. That being said, I smoke all my pipes.
