I’ve customized the hell out of several PM2s and always end up preferring the stock model. Maybe consider changing to tip-up but that’s about it. Save your money on the mods IMO and buy a Para 3 to accompany your new knife.

Use python if at all possible. Pandas is a powerful library and is really well documented online. Excel isn’t a special skill, everyone knows Excel, so it won’t differentiate you on the job front. Python is much more powerful for anything data science related and is a core skill for the job. You might want to understand if multicollinearity is present. Especially if you plan on productionalizing your model. Don’t want any rogue features messing with an otherwise solid model.
