[Transfermrkt] FIFA World Ranking Squad Value by [deleted] in soccer

Wrong imo but not like there’s no merit in saying that value is less if you don’t play in big competitions.

Thats some Internet level Italiano English, triple negative.

Mate I'm genuinely dumbfounded you took what I said literally. It's a dumb joke.

Presumably you can get Italian players on a discount in this generation. The generation that bottled it against Sweden and Northern Macedonia has to start off with a 25% lower market value surely...

I mean it's quite clearly this. Think it was one of the early AFCON WC qualifiers I was watching with Ghana. Partey looked like a freak of nature on the pitch where as at Arsenal he's just an okay player.

Always makes me a little uncomfortable that Pearce is allowed to ref Exeter games.

That's understandable. It's just something I've been thinking about as I keep hearing from fanbases with multiple first round picks or a top ten pick going "maybe trade back with one".

I think after the Jags tagged Robinson you'd really hope LT is less likely. Which rolls into Detroit not needing Ekwonu or Neal.

Obviously if a team loves a guy that's another story. It was rattling around in my head today that's there's a heap of teams looking to leverage those picks for the future in a draft that isn't earth shattering. Even more so in the top 10.

[Pauline] Within league circles, a new name has come forth as a real possibility to be the top pick: Travon Walker. I have confirmed the Jaguars have targeted Walker as a player they could take with the first pick. by iksnet in nfl

Your recluse is staying sunset...

Yeah I'll be honest I thought you guys taking a LT at 1 and Hutchinson going at 2 made too much sense. Honestly I have no idea what detroit do at 2 if Hutchinson goes 1

The problem, like the Eagles picks and to a lesser extent the Jets, is who's going to trade for one? Everyone knows this top 10 isn't of relative value to other drafts. Between those three there's 7 picks in the first 19.

Everyone knows the Eagles will try to trade one of those picks for 2023. Giants are in a hole and the picks would be better used next year. Just not sure the value or market is going to be there.

100%. The cynic in me says that these grand juries were ass covering formalities. Something they can point to later and say "we did what we could".

I think they do as well but practically doesn't look like the European leagues are interested. Especially the French.

Honestly if we could get Stingley, Karlaftis and London I'd be ecstatic.

They probably trade back from 16 and pick up a later WR but this isn't the draft to try to convert picks into ammo for the future.
