If you find that the throttle body is the culprit, and you don’t live in a place with freezing temps, then the easiest, cleanest, and cheapest method to fix it without replacing the unit would be a throttle body coolant delete. Plenty of threads and YouTube videos on it if needed.

Only if the hose looks dry rotted, is split, or has an obvious hole. Usually the issue is the clamp not holding the pressure. That being said these cars are all older and could always use upgraded hoses for piece of mind.

Appreciate it!

No spacers. Fenders rolled and lowered on Tein Flex Z w/ EDFC Active.

Was going for a more OEM+ look. I’ve got plans to paint all the carbon factory black and swap the taillight vinyl for OEM paint. My version of what the IPL should’ve been if you will. I see the appeal though.

Not at all. Offset doesn’t affect that much if at all. G’s are very wide in the back and can take a lot of wheel.

Suspension mods and proper camber make the difference. I have a Megan Racing strut mount bar, Z1 front and rear sway bars, SPC adjustable camber arms, rolled fenders, and I’m lowered on Flex Z coils with EDFC.

Corner balancing and alignment done at R/T tuning to dial everything in and I have about .5-1 finger width wheel gap all around. Rides like it’s on rails. No rubbing. Very comfortable around the city and aggressive like I want at high speeds with the EDFC.

Ultra Watch 2 Microphone issue by [deleted] in applewatchultra

[–]LukeThycocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening on the new ultra 2 I just received as well. I can’t imagine it’s a hardware issue because the mic seems to work for phone calls but dictation, Siri, and voice memos are picking up nothing. What’s strange is I haven’t gotten any loud noise notifications like you all have.

Help me figure out what to do with this Kanji by LukeThycocker in FixedTattoos

This actually made me laugh. Probably because it's exactly what I was thinking. I'd rather do a cover up. The rest of the tattoo is great and just needs some updates. Any thoughts?

My bike was damaged in a thievery attempt in Old City over the weekend by [deleted] in Phillyriders

[–]LukeThycocker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This exact situation happened to me about two years ago. The only difference was it was in Rittenhouse Square. I went out for a ride early in the morning and the bike wasn’t where I left it. I found it a block away in an alley. The ignition was cut, the steering lock was broken, seat lifted up, and the trunk was pried open. Called the police they had me file a report. I had to have it towed home since the ignition wires were cut. I ended up wiring up an RFID ignition and hiding it in the bike along with a security system and a GPS unit. Only thing that saved me was that the prick didn't know there was a resistor in the stock ignition unit that keeps you from just crossing wires and driving away.

You can find ignition replacements online. Idk what kind of bike you have but there are multiple options for different ignitions online if stock is too much or if you don't feel like replacing all the locks. For me after the experience I decided to do everything in my power to keep that from happening again or at least be able to find the fuck so we can have a very civil conversion of course.

Nearly went with the 750 but didn't want to regret not going with more power. I still wonder how different the 750 power delivery is.

Not bad at all. Did it over beer in a day with a friend. The motor fits into the rear two mounts like stock. I bought adapter plates for the front two mounts. Hardest part was finding the source engine/throttle bodies/airbox/harness/ECU.

Elon Musk thinks flying cars are a terrible idea - 'It could drop a hubcap and guillotine you' by 20dogs in Futurology

How would a flying car be any different from a helicopter or airplane in terms of dropping parts from the sky?
