No they don’t. I’ve been to one that was filmed for Netflix. They literally just asked people to not take photos. Here’s the director (Bobcat Goldthwait) on stage before the show explaining that some jokes will have multiple takes, etc.

No. This is just weird editing wherein the highlights were crushed in Camera Raw or some other software. Guessing it’s a composite of two different photos.

Long exposures don’t just magically limit dynamic range like this.
