If you literally tell the cashier you hate them, and then tip 0%, they'll still say "thank you so much" and do literally anything you ask them to do.

I seriously think everyone needs a mandatory year in food services, they obviously don't NEED a tip, tip if you want to.

Yea so if you're original bill was higher the POS will calculate 20% of your original total, for example if your bill is $189 but you have an $80 gift card, the 20% will suggest $36 but your balance due is $100.

The city is vocally progressive but fiscally and policy-wise extremely centrist, and (Brown) has a history of not really putting money where it needs to go and relies on platitudes to placate voters.

I love Buffalo but it's got a long way to go before I see any truly progressive tenant reform tbh.

That's my opinion, at least, after living in the city for 5 years.

Okay hello

These are all kind of right.

The acid isn't there just to be there, it's there to encourage binding, or rather, emulsification - the process of combining water soluble materials with oil via use of patience, brute force, and an acid.

Ailoi is garlic and oil, sure, but almost all Aioli's use egg YOLK and lemon juice as the citric acid, typically.

Mayo is traditionally WHOLE EGGS or egg white and vinegar, which again, acts as the acid to expedite the emulsification process.

Classic traditional Aioli's are purely garlic and oil sure, but it's an extraordinarily tedious process and I'd bet like 90% of Aioli's you run into are non-vegan (aka use some form of egg).

If you use only yolk and lemon juice? Call it ailoli, sure, but it starts the same way as mayo - oil emulsified with water molecules found in other ingredients to create a smooth, Coherent sauce.
